Soon you will be flawless is an interactive narrative installation that explores the role of the 3D-rendered image in advertising media, particularly in the beauty industry.

The project investigates the relationship between the act of creating and reproducing the 3D image, the image and its object, the normative ideals that are embedded within them, and their impacts on identity formation for viewers.

This semester-long project was pursued in my Major Studio course at Parsons.

Soon you will be flawless was developed in Unity and utilizes the MediaPipe Computer Vision library for hand and face tracking interactions.

The installation consists of a large main projection and a Pepper’s Ghost hologram housed within a bell jar.
